Meet your Healthcare Team

With a combined 30 years of clinical experience, Nurse Practitioners Christina and Andrea offer personalized, destigmatized care with an evidence-based step wise approach. They are dedicated to helping individuals catch illnesses early, manage chronic conditions and achieve sustainable health goals.

Christina Zeglinski, Nurse Practitioner. Oncology. Preventative Health.
  • MN, RN(EC), AGNP

Christina is a Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience in managing both acute and chronic conditions, with a specialization in oncology. She completed her education at the University of Toronto and is licensed to practice in Ontario, with a Board Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She currently holds an Adjunct Lecturer status position at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.

Having worked closely with patients at various stages of cancer care, Christina recognized that many patients often come to diagnosis after the disease has progressed significantly. The sense of urgency to shift the focus from reactive treatment to prevention is what inspired her to co-develop Nightingale Clinic. Christina is dedicated to bridging the gap in early detection and intervention, working with patients to educate and empower them about preventive measures, lifestyle changes, and regular screenings that could help catch cancer and other chronic diseases in their earliest and most treatable stages.

Andrea Zwolinski. Nurse Practitioner. Gastrointestinal Health. Preventative Health.
  • MN, RN(EC), AGNP

Andrea is a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in chronic disease management, health promotion and gut health. Her clinical background includes emergency medicine, oncology and inflammatory bowel diseases. She completed her education at the University of Toronto and is licensed to practice in Ontario, with a Board Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Driven by a deep passion for improving health and wellness, Andrea  focuses on mitigating risk factors to your current health to prevent negative outcomes and enhance your quality of life. Working with patients with inflammatory bowel disorders, she is familiar with how dysregulation of the immune system can influence inflammation in the body and worsen health outcomes and promote chronic conditions.

Why choose us?

  1. Dedicated and accessible Nurse Practitioner-led care.

Your care will be managed exclusively by NPs Andrea and Christina which offers numerous benefits that prioritize personalized healthcare.

Individualized Care: With two practitioners in our clinic, you will receive tailored attention that focuses on your specific health needs and preferences. This level of individual care fosters a strong client-provider relationship.

Consistent Practitioners: You will consistently interact with the same practitioners, allowing for better continuity of care. We will develop a thorough understanding of your medical history, preferences, and lifestyle, facilitating more effective treatment and follow-up.

Streamlined Communication: The absence of additional staff minimizes the chances of miscommunication. You can easily discuss your concerns directly with either Christina or Andrea, ensuring that your voice is heard and valued.

Comfortable Environment: The intimate setting creates a welcoming atmosphere where our clients can feel at ease. This environment contributes to a more relaxed experience, essential for effective healthcare delivery.

Holistic Approach: With a focus on comprehensive care, Christina and Andrea incorporate various aspects of well-being into treatment plans, addressing physical, mental, and social health in a cohesive manner.

Flexibility and Accessibility: Smaller clinics often have more flexible scheduling options, enabling you to find appointment times that suit your lifestyle. This accessibility enhances adherence to treatment plans and follow-ups.

  2. Guaranteed follow-up on all test results - even if normal!

Waiting for test results can be anxiety-provoking, especially in today’s overburdened healthcare system where many clients only hear back if results are abnormal—and often, the wait is far too long. At Nightingale Clinic, we are committed to following up on all test results and reviewing them with you in detail. This approach not only helps you gain a clearer understanding of your health status but also enhances our collaboration, leading to more effective care and better outcomes in maintaining your optimal health and well-being.

  3. A personalized health plan that is unique to you

We understand that every individual is unique, and your health plan should be too. After our initial consultation, we will create a personalized health plan tailored to your specific needs. This plan takes into account your medical history, clinical findings, diagnostic results, lifestyle factors, and personal goals, allowing us to develop targeted strategies to help you achieve your optimal health.
